While the strike might have been 'peaceful' on the streets, the economic turmoil it highlights is anything but. Filipinos are once again left to ponder the age-old question: are our authorities truly protecting us, or are they just professional observers of our collective suffering? Perhaps a more accurate report would be: 'PNP claims strike was peaceful while fuel prices continue their ascent into the stratosphere, leaving ordinary citizens to question their life choices.'
